Service Area FAQs
How far does Flyght's on-site coverage reach from Toledo?
Our field engineers regularly serve Toledo and surrounding communities throughout Northwest Ohio, including Perrysburg, Maumee, Sylvania, Bowling Green, Findlay, Defiance, and Sandusky. We also maintain regular coverage across Southeast Michigan (including Monroe and the Detroit Metro) and Northeast Indiana (Fort Wayne and surrounding areas). If you're within 1–2 hours of Toledo, we almost certainly cover you.
Do you have a minimum contract requirement for businesses outside Toledo?
We don't apply a different contract structure based on geography. Our standard annual agreement applies to clients throughout Ohio, Michigan, and Indiana. Remote IT support services — help desk, monitoring, cybersecurity, Microsoft 365 management — are fully available to businesses anywhere in our tri-state service area. On-site visit frequency and response times are disclosed upfront based on your location.
Can you support a company with offices in multiple states?
Yes — and this is actually one of our strengths. Many of our clients have locations across Ohio, Michigan, and Indiana, and we manage them as a single unified IT environment. Your team gets the same help desk access, the same security monitoring, and the same account engineer relationship regardless of which office they're in.
How quickly can Flyght be on-site at our location?
For Toledo and the immediate Northwest Ohio metro, urgent on-site needs are typically fulfilled within 1–2 hours during business hours. For Michigan and Indiana locations, most non-emergency on-site work is scheduled 1–2 business days out. Emergency situations are handled differently — we'll discuss response time commitments specific to your location during the assessment.
Is remote IT support just as effective as having someone on-site?
For the vast majority of IT issues — 90%+ in our experience — remote support is just as fast and effective as on-site, often more so. Our engineers can remotely access, diagnose, and resolve issues on any managed device within minutes. On-site support is best for hardware installations, network buildouts, cabling, and physical security deployments. We dispatch field engineers for those as needed.
Do you charge extra for travel to locations outside Toledo?
We're transparent about travel considerations during scoping. Most remote IT support is included in your flat-rate agreement regardless of location. For on-site work in Michigan and Indiana, we discuss any travel arrangements upfront and structure them into your agreement — no surprise invoices after the fact.
Can you serve a Michigan or Indiana business that doesn't have a Toledo connection?
Absolutely. While many of our Michigan and Indiana clients have some Toledo connection — a parent company, a customer base, a supplier relationship — it's not a requirement. We evaluate every potential client on the quality of the fit and our ability to serve them well. If we can deliver the same level of service we provide our Toledo clients, we're interested in the conversation.
What makes Flyght different from a national MSP with a local office?
We're genuinely local. Our leadership team, our engineers, and our operational center are all based in Toledo. We're not a franchise of a national brand with remote management from a distant NOC. We know the Toledo and Northwest Ohio business community because we're part of it. When something goes sideways, you're talking to someone who lives nearby and understands the context — not a help desk agent in a different time zone.
Do you serve rural Ohio or Indiana businesses, or only metro areas?
We serve businesses throughout our tri-state area, including smaller communities outside the major metros. Most cybersecurity, monitoring, and help desk services are delivered remotely and don't require proximity. For businesses in rural areas that need on-site support, we schedule field engineer visits with appropriate advance notice and transparency about travel arrangements.
