Technology Partnerships
We partner with the best names in enterprise technology so you get rock-solid solutions backed by the vendors who build them. No off-brand mystery equipment here.
What Our Partnerships Mean for You
We don't buy whatever's cheapest or whatever gives us the best margin. We've evaluated hundreds of vendor solutions over 20+ years and built relationships with the partners whose products consistently perform in real-world business environments across Northwest Ohio, Southeast Michigan, and Northeast Indiana.
Being a certified partner matters in ways that aren't obvious until you need them: priority support escalation channels, direct access to engineers at the vendor level, early access to security patches, and pricing that passes real savings to our clients. When something goes wrong with a vendor's product at 2 AM, being a certified partner means we have a direct line to the people who built it.
Below is what each partnership means for your business specifically — not marketing language about "industry-leading solutions," but practical client benefits you'll actually experience.
As a Microsoft Solutions Partner, we have access to Microsoft's deepest technical resources and support escalation paths. For you, this means your Microsoft 365 environment is configured correctly from day one — with security settings, compliance policies, and licensing optimization that Microsoft's own documentation buries under 40 layers of options. When Microsoft releases a change that could break something in your environment, we know about it before it affects you.
Meraki's cloud-managed networking platform is one of the most reliable and manageable enterprise networking stacks available. For you, this means a network we can monitor, troubleshoot, and reconfigure remotely — without a truck roll for most issues. Every switch, access point, and firewall is visible in a single dashboard. When something's wrong, we know about it and can often fix it before you notice.
Our Dell partnership means better hardware pricing than you'd get direct, access to business-grade configurations that aren't available at retail, and a procurement process where hardware arrives pre-staged and ready to deploy. For you, this means faster hardware rollouts, properly specified equipment for your workloads, and warranty service that's actually supported.
Datto's backup and business continuity platform is purpose-built for MSP-managed environments — which means better integration with our monitoring platform and tested restore procedures we've actually used when clients needed them. For you, this means backup and disaster recovery that works when it counts, with recovery times measured in hours, not days, and documentation your cyber insurer will actually accept.
SentinelOne's AI-powered endpoint platform is consistently rated at the top of independent security evaluations. For you, this means endpoint protection that catches ransomware, zero-day exploits, and fileless attacks that traditional antivirus misses — with rollback capabilities that can reverse the damage from an attack. This is what enterprise-grade endpoint security looks like, available to Toledo-area businesses of any size.
Ubiquiti's UniFi platform delivers enterprise-class wireless and network infrastructure at significantly lower cost than traditional enterprise vendors — without sacrificing manageability. For you, this means wall-to-wall WiFi coverage, proper network segmentation, and centralized management for a price point that makes sense for a small or mid-size business in Northwest Ohio.
Rabbit Run firewalls deliver next-generation security features — intrusion prevention, deep packet inspection, VPN management — in an appliance designed for simplicity and performance. For you, this means a properly secured network perimeter that's actively managed and updated, without the complexity and cost of legacy enterprise firewall vendors.
ConnectWise is the operational backbone of how we deliver managed IT services. Their RMM and PSA platform enables our proactive monitoring, automated patching, ticketing, and documentation. For you, this is largely invisible — but it's what allows us to monitor hundreds of client devices simultaneously and catch issues before they become problems. Better tooling means better service.
Our technicians have a 97.3% success rate at fixing printers on the first visit. The other 2.7%? We're still convinced those printers are haunted. PC LOAD LETTER, indeed. We manage your entire print fleet — supplies, monitoring, maintenance — so you never have to think about printers again. That's a win for everyone.
Partnership FAQs
Why does it matter if my MSP is a Microsoft partner?
Microsoft Solutions Partners have access to technical support escalation paths, engineering resources, and partner-exclusive training that non-partners don't. When a complex Microsoft issue needs escalation beyond standard support, certified partners get faster access to the engineers who can actually solve it. It also means we've been vetted by Microsoft and meet ongoing competency standards — not just someone who bought a reseller license.
Do you use the same vendors for every client, or can we use our existing hardware?
We'll work with what you have when it makes sense. If your existing hardware is current, supported, and compatible with our monitoring platform, we'll manage it — no rip-and-replace required. When hardware is due for refresh or doesn't meet our security standards, we'll recommend the right replacement from our vendor portfolio and explain why. We never push hardware upgrades for our own benefit.
Are you locked into specific vendors, or do you shop the market?
We've evaluated the market extensively and landed on our current vendor set because they consistently perform well for the businesses we serve in Northwest Ohio. That said, we're not locked in. If a better solution emerges for a specific use case, we evaluate it. Our vendor relationships are based on client outcomes, not kickback structures.
What happens if a vendor's product has a security vulnerability?
As certified partners, we receive advance notice of security vulnerabilities through vendor partner programs before they're publicly disclosed. This gives us time to deploy patches or implement mitigations before your business is exposed. For critical vulnerabilities, we patch proactively — you may not even know it happened until you see it in your monthly report.
Can Flyght negotiate better pricing than we'd get going direct to a vendor?
Yes, consistently. Our partner-level pricing on hardware and software is better than what most businesses can negotiate independently. We pass those savings through to our clients on hardware procurement and software licensing. Partner discounts vary by vendor, but they're a meaningful benefit of working with a certified MSP.
What's the benefit of having one MSP manage all our vendor relationships?
When something goes wrong and multiple vendors are involved — which happens constantly in IT — there's no finger-pointing. We own the entire technology environment, which means we don't get to blame the next vendor in line. If your VoIP system is having issues because of a network misconfiguration, we fix the network. If your endpoint security is conflicting with a business application, we resolve it. One throat to choke, as they say — but we prefer to think of it as one team accountable for everything.
